Vintage releases include foreign films, Myrna Loy trio

Some terrific vintage movies have made their way to DVD, including a pair of stunning black-and-white foreign films, and new titles from the manufacture-on-demand Warner Archives website.

"Araya" (Milestone, 1959, b/w, $29.95). Here's a little documentary that practically defines the term "art film," a deceptively simple tone poem that quietly follows a day in the life of peasants working in a small, arid Venezuelan peninsula devoted to salt mining.

Day in and day out, they travel to the salt marsh, where they cut and clean the salt, then crush and mold it into huge pyramids before it is sold for a pittance by the basketful. The grueling work is done entirely by hand, with shovels and wheelbarrows -- no machinery -- for several hours at a time, sometimes damaging their skin. At the end of the film, however, mechanized means of gathering the salt arrive and a way of life is obviously on the verge of extinction.

Araya's complicated and engrossing history is also chronicled in the film's narration, wrapping up a package that makes for fascinating viewing during an all-too-short 82 minutes.

This is the only feature by Venezuelan filmmaker Margot Benacerraf, who also made two shorts (her first, a documentary on Venezuelan painter "Reveron," is also here). And among the bonus features are three featurettes on Benacerraf, including a 2007 update of Araya, as she revisits the area she filmed in 1957 and observes the mechanization that is now in place.

Extras: widescreen, in Spanish with English subtitles, audio commentary (with Benacerraf), short 1953 film: "Reveron" (which also has a Benacerraf commentary), featurettes, trailer; DVD-Rom applications

"Shoeshine" (eOne, 1946, b/w, $29.98). An early example of European neo-realism, this stark drama is about two young boys in post-war Rome, struggling to earn money so they can buy a horse. On the streets, they shine shoes of American soldiers, until, anxious to build up their savings, they fall in with crooks and are framed for a burglary they did not commit.

Once in juvenile detention, the boys are separated and warned to keep silent by the real thieves. But a deception by their captors leads one of the boys to rat out his comrades, setting up a series of escalating incidents that lead to tragedy.

Vividly and artfully directed by Vittorio De Sica two years before his most significant triumph, "The Bicycle Thief" (considered one of the best foreign films ever), "Shoeshine" is powerfully moving and was so admired when it played in America that it won a special Oscar before the foreign-language Academy Award was created.

"So Goes My Love" (Warner Archive, 1946, b/w, $19.95).

"The Squall" (Warner Archive, 1929, b/w, $19.95).

"New Morals for Old" (Warner Archive, 1932, b/w, $19.95). This trio of Myrna Loy films has been added to the www.wbshop.com website (click on "Warner Archive") -- one made when she was a top-billed star in her early 40s and two when she was a struggling 20- something in exotic supporting roles. (And if you're a Loy fan, there are a great number of her films on the site.)

"So Goes My Love" boasts Loy at the top of her game as a Boston farm girl in the 1860s who travels to Brooklyn, N.Y., to find a rich husband. Instead, she falls for eccentric inventor Don Ameche. Obvious but cute and amusing comedy of manners based on the true- life inventor of the machine gun, the mousetrap, the curling iron and many other useful gizmos. Great fun.

"The Squall" features 24-year-old Loy at her sexiest as Nubi, a man-eating Gypsy who worms her way into the home of a prominent family as a servant, then seduces all the men just for the fun of it. Stilted early sound picture gives Loretta Young and Loy billing after Alice Joyce (who?). Fun to watch two big stars so early in their careers.

"New Morals for Old" gives Loy fifth billing but she's only onscreen about two minutes in a cameo as a neighbor in a French hotel with whom aspiring artist Robert Young has a fling. The film follows Young's character and his sister as they strive to be bohemians as different from their parents as possible, but, of course, in the end wind up just like them.

Let A Professional Tree Service Help With Yard Clean Up

Spring is finally here, and with the coming of spring comes a lot of work. This is especially true, if you are a home owner that has a number of trees on your property. No matter where you live, winter storms and cold temperatures can do a lot of damage to all sorts of vegetation. You may be shocked to see the downed and scattered branches littering your yard in the aftermath of all that wind and blowing snow.

There will be some clean up that you can accomplish on your own with your rake and wheelbarrow. However, when it comes to large and dangling debris, you had better call in the professionals. They can trim off the damaged limbs so that your tree's health is preserved for years to come. They can handle it all because they have the knowledge, the equipment such as cranes and specialized saws, plus the technique to do it right.

A tree service will also take away the whole tangled mess so you won't have to worry about how to dispose of it. After all, most neighborhoods have strict laws about building fires, so there goes your plan to use up all that wood by having bonfires and roast marshmallow roasts each night. You might reserve some wood to stack and age for future use in your fireplace. Speaking of rules and regulations, a tree service is required to carry the appropriate liability insurance, in case of an accident.

When it comes to pruning and trimming trees, there are rules that should be followed in order to preserve the health of the particular species. If your tree flowers before May, then it should be trimmed after the blooming is over. If your tree flowers after May then it should be trimmed between January and March. A cherry tree, should be trimmed in the late part of the summer, but an evergreen can be clipped just as soon as you notice any dead branches.

There is no job that a skilled tree service can't handle. If you have trees and bushes that have grown too close to the sidewalk or your neighbors property line, then action is warranted. Maintaining a clear walkway and keeping peace with the folks that live next to you is important. If this is the year that you plan to put in more flowerbeds or grow some veggies, then you may need to prune some trees so that the sun's rays can reach those developing seeds.

What Does 'Confidence' Mean For You?

Confidence is a term that comes up often when talking about golf performance. Its all about confidence and I just need to be confident are some of the sentences heard.

Confidence means different things to different people. This article is about helping you to grasp what confidence means for you. How do you experience it, and more importantly, what can you do to get it?

To begin, lets talk about how you experience confidence. When experiencing confidence, what do you see, what do you hear, and what do you feel? Often, it is the feeling a person gets in their body that denotes confidence. The golfer will feel centred, balanced, calm, and powerful at the same time. Sometimes the golfer will hear things in a certain way or see things in a certain way when experiencing confidence. However the golfer experiences confidence, its useful for the golfer to acknowledge how they experience confidence in their sensory experience. This then becomes the goal. The golfer has gone from a vague term to a nuts and bolts sensory description.

Next, the question is what happens immediately before you feel confident? And then, what happens immediately before that? Try to establish the pattern that leads to you experiencing confidence; this is where you start on your journey to accessing confidence.

Confidence is a state of mind; it is a process of behaviour, not a thing. You cant fit onfidence in a wheelbarrow. What Im interested in is the pattern is that leads to confidence. Do you say something to yourself? Do you see yourself performing perfectly? Do you hear somebody telling you how good you are? What is involved in the process that leads you to feeling confident?

Try answering these questions?

1) The key to confidence for me is.

2) I know Im confident when

3) .gives me confidence

4) ..happens right before I experience being confident

5) If I want more confidence, I ..

As a final thought, its important that you balance confidence with realism. For example, being confident about flying is not a good idea. Look for reference examples in your past that demonstrate you excelling at the skill you want to be confident doing? Try replaying that success over and over and over again, knowing you can do that again in the future. Does that make you more confident?

Scientific Wrestling: "Buddy" Weight Conditioning

Do you like lifting dumbbells? Well you may very well stop after you read this (unless you are in the bad habit calling your friends and workout partners "dumbbells"). I want to share a method of strength training that is somewhat common in wrestling rooms but is not otherwise commonly known elsewhere.

Inspired by Brandon Ruiz, I thought that Buddy Lifts need some attention. The only equipment you really need is a friend. Preferably a friend that roughly weighs the same as you (or less if you happen to be a beginner to strength training). Even if you're a seasoned weight lifter, still start with someone that is approximately the same weight as you. Regardless if you can dead-lift or back-squat twice your body weight, you will want to start with a lighter weight since it is a "live" weight, which can be awkward.

Live weight actively recruits compensatory and stabilization muscles in a way that "dead" weight does not. It is these oft under-used stabilizers that you will want to be careful with so as to avoid injury until you are familiar with lifting with a live weight. There is much here that an experienced weight lifter will find familiar but lifting with a live weight must be felt to be truly understood.

Regarding safety, please follow these basic guidelines when lifting "live" weight:

- Take care of your partner! They trust you and they should have every reason to do so. It's simple; if you can't carry their weight, then don't lift them.

- Use proper form. If you have any question about how to perform the lift, ask a qualified coach first!

- Put some "oomph" into it. Once you are confident that you have proper form and you can protect your partner, lift ballistically. This means, lift as explosively and powerfully as you safely can.

- Never, ever use children or animals for your buddy lifts. Even if they have soiled your favorite pair of shoes or ruined an expensive piece of furniture, they are off limits for this activity. Only use partners that can make fully informed decisions regarding participation and their own welfare.

- Do not lift while ill or injured, you're only prone to make things worse.

- Lift only insofar as you can maintain perfect form. Once your form degrades due to fatigue or if the load is too heavy, then please immediately stop and call it a day.

As long as you can abide by these guidelines I think you are really going to enjoy learning and performing these buddy lifts!

The Basics: Start Here

These exercises are a great way to begin your training in partner resistance exercises.

1) Leg Pushing

Have your partner lie down on their back. Now step around so that you are standing over them with one foot on each side of their head. Their left hand grabs your left ankle and their right hand grabs your ankle.

Your partner raises their legs (so their posture is shaped like an "L") and you push their feet hard forward and toward the ground. They resist and try not to let their feet hit the ground. They bring their legs up again and you push them back to the ground.

You repeat this 15 times for beginners, eventually working your way up to 50 repetitions per set.

2) Piggy Back Ride

Most people should be familiar with this even if they haven't done this since childhood. Once your partner jumps on your back you have 3 basic options:

- Walk for distance - Perform Lunges - Perform Squats

3) Taking Out The Trash

After assuring your partner that the name of this exercise in no way reflects your personal estimate of their character, grab them from behind in a bear-hug around the waist (both of you should be facing the same direction now).

Now walk a distance, say 100 meters forward then switch positions. Now have your partner carry you back.

This lift can be performed with the lifter walking both forwards or backwards (just be careful you have a clear path to avoid stumbling).

4) Honeymoons

Think of the classic image of a groom carrying his bride across the threshold. Lift your partner like this and then:

Intermediate Partner Lifts

Once you feel comfortable with carrying live weight, you can add these lifts into the mix.

1) Single Leg Lift

Stand at your partner's side, squat down and hug your partner's leg with a classic dead-lift posture (your hips underneath you and your head up). For the most efficient grip, make sure both palms are facing up, and one on top of the other. This is almost as if you are doing a bicep curl with your hands together when done correctly.

>From here, stand up straight lifting your partner into the air and slightly load the weight onto your chest by putting your hips firmly beneath you.

This exercise can be done for reps or you can walk for distance.

2) Wheelbarrow

Another long forgotten gem from childhood, this one is performed by walking on your hands while your partner holds your feet. To make it challenging, do a push-up between every step or try doing this exercise up and down a flight of stairs. It ain't rocket science but it will definitely challenge you and put some fun back in your work-out!

3) Backward Saddle Sit-Up

Ok, it sounds complicated but it really isn't. Your partner gets down on all fours. You are going to sit down on their back but instead of facing forward like riding a horse, you are going to sit facing the other direction (toward their feet).

Once you are comfortable, hook your legs into their legs so when you lean back to do the sit-up you are stabilized. Cross your arms across your chest and lean back as far as you can. As you do, your partner should begin to feel the load increase upon their neck and shoulders. This way, while you are working your abdominal muscle, so your partner is working hard too.

Do as many as you can until you can reach 50 repetitions without trouble.

More Advanced Buddy Lifts

These progressions are a little more complicated and should be practiced only after the aforementioned buddy lifts are mastered.

1) Dead-man Lift

Stand directly above your partner as they lie face down. One foot on each side of them reach under their belly and clasp your hands. Assume a classic dead-lift posture with your head up and your hips underneath you.

Lift your partner with your legs, swinging him forward as you stand upright. Repeat from the beginning position with your partner lying completely flat.

2) Fireman's Carry

Face your partner. Pull your partner onto your shoulders by grabbing their same-side bicep (e.g., your left hand grabs their right bicep) then duck your head underneath that same side armpit (e.g., their right arm).

Bend down slightly while maintaining a good load-bearing posture (head up, hips squarely underneath you) and with your other arm grab their leg (e.g., your right arm hugs their right leg, assuming the above example). Pull them completely onto your shoulders and stand up completely.

From here you can walk for distance, perform squats and/or lunges.

3) Squad Push-Up

This is for when you have more than one partner to work out with. All participants assume push-up position in a circle. Place your feet on the shoulders of the person next to the left of you. Be sure to place the shoe-laces portion of your feet on your neighbors back, not the tip-toes.

The person to the right of you will place their feet on your shoulders. This will create an unbroken human chain when done correctly. Once in position, everyone will do push-ups in unison until the "weakest link" in the chain can continue no more.

4) Reverse Lift

This is a classic lift practiced in Greco-roman wrestling. With your partner lying flat on their stomach, kneel to one side of them. Wrap your arms around their waist and clasp your hands together underneath their body.

Now, be certain that when you grasp them that arm that is on the same side of your body as their feet are reaches under the near side of your partner and the arm that is on the same side of your body as your partners head and arms reaches around the far side of your partner's body.

With your arms grasped thusly, from your kneeling position pull your partner onto your lap. Now get to one knee, then to both feet.

Here's the tricky part: now swing your partner's legs from the side that they are on at first now to the other side. To do so, stand tall and giving a slight pop with your hips as you pull with your clasped arms.

Lower your partner all the way to the ground so that they are flat again and then repeat the lift.

5) Partner Plyometrics

Make sure you are fresh on these so you don't jump on top of your partner. Have them lie face down then stand to one side of their body. Next, simply jump back and forth over their body. Work up to 50 jumps per set.

For a more advanced workout, have your partner get on all fours and jump over the higher obstacle that they now present.

6) The Flip Over

Your partner gets down on all fours. You get to one side and reach underneath with both arms, grabbing their far ribs. Now place your chin on their back on the far side of your partner's body.

Once you are in position and have hold of your partner securely, kick both legs over their body completely while holding tight. When done properly, you will end up on the other side of your partner with your belly to the ceiling and your head underneath their ribcage. From here, kick back over to the position that you originally started from. Flip over like this as many times as you safely can.

New Device Collects Pesky Pine Cones

One of the benefits of being a garden writer is that you get all kinds of stuff to try out or read. Books, tools, fertilizers, magic fairy dust that will make anything grow; you name it. Some of it is good, some of it not so good some of it is exciting, some of it not so thrilling. And then once in a while you come across stuff like the CONEIVORE.

The first time I saw it was when my editor handed it to me with a puzzled look. It was too big for the mail box so she had it in her office. It looked like a three-foot long piece of white sewer pipe only with yellow end caps. I had to read the name plastered on its side slowly. Was I reading this right CONEIVORE, not carn-i-vore. The name did give me a hint as to what this gizmo does: It eats pine cones.

Yeah, right. It eats those pesky arboreal bombs that plague any Inland Northwest homeowner with ponderosa pine trees. If the wind doesn't drop these spiny projectiles then the squirrels use them for target practice. The target? You, me, the dog, whatever, they don't care.

Curiosity got the better of me though, so I took it home to try it.

Test number one: Assembly. On further inspection, I found there were handles inside the tube that had to be mounted on the outside. Now I had a three-foot long piece of sewer pipe with yellow handles and caps on it. The cap on the top of the tube was actually a freebie replacement cap. Hmm, the assembly instructions worked and the manufacturer actually put in a freebie! Two points to the good.

Test number two: The directions said that the tube would pick pine cones off the ground so you don't have to bend over and scoop them up. The slotted cap allowed pine or any other cone at least 2 to 6 inches to slip into the tube when the tube was pushed down on it. The tube would hold 15 to 18 cones at which point you could dump them. All to be done while you stand upright. The instructions said the tool would also pick up cones from many other conifers besides ponderosa pine. OK, simple enough. I'm ready to thump and go.

I have a back yard full of cones and raking them up is my least enjoyable garden task. Least favorite in that I once offered our then fourth grade daughter 10 cents a cone if she'd pick them up. After about 20 minutes she came in and said, "Mom, I stopped counting at $45 worth." Darn these newly learned math skills! We anted up.

Tool in hand I located the first victim. Putting the bottom of the tube over the cone, I thumped. No more cone. Another thump and another cone gone. I repeated this about a dozen times and realized I wasn't feeling tired or grumbling at bending. Hey, there could be something to this. I emptied the tube in the wheelbarrow and went back to thumping. In the space of 15 minutes I had a half wheelbarrow full of cones and was enjoying myself. Score 10 points for the gizmo. This one belongs in the tool shed.

How do gardeners get a hold of this?

It turns out that the CONEIVORE has its roots in Cheney, and it came about when one gardener wasn't going to let health issues sideline her.

It was Sept. 25, 2002. Debra Seefeldt had been out three times already to pick up falling cones in the yard of her family's pine-covered 10 acres near Cheney.

"I had just had my fifth surgery within two years," she wrote, "I went in the house and sat down and looked out the window, I just started crying. I love the trees but really hurt when I pick up the cones." Enter an idea her father-in-law Milt Seefeldt had started developing 10 years earlier, but since then had been gathering dust in her garage.

Seefeldt quickly learned that bringing a new idea to market is no easy task. Metal collectors on the pipe were replaced with plastic. Then the right plastic had to be found. A patent had to be applied for. Finally, there was the challenge of finding suppliers and manufacturers. And in the midst of all this was more surgery.

Seefeldt kept all the prototyping, product development and manufacturing right here in the Inland Northwest. She got help from talented local engineers and machinists. The tool's parts are manufactured in Post Falls. The packaging is done in Spokane. And most importantly, Seefelt persevered and brought CONEIVORE to market in the fall of 2004.

She hopes CONEIVORE will help anyone who hates to pick up cones or can't because of limitations.

"It will help you enjoy your pine trees again," she adds.

Spring Cleaning your Horse Stable

Its that time of year again. Your horses humble home has taken a beating from the wind, rain and freezing temperatures all winter. Youve most likely mucked out the stable as fast as you can in a bid to get back in the warm. Now finally, spring is here, the sun is starting to make a more regular appearance and now is the perfect time to really spruce up your stable and keep your horsey happy!

Start off by putting the horse out to pasture. He can have a good gallop around the field leaving you free to work undisturbed. You will need a wheelbarrow to transport the dirty bedding, a shovel and your brush which should only be used in and around the stable.

First off, give the floor a really good sweep out. Make sure to get into all the corners and get rid of every last bit of bedding. Next, look up. Chances are there are huge black cobwebs hanging off the roof that you havent even noticed. Get them all down with your brush but try not to hurt the spiders!

It is a good idea to wash and disinfect the floor now to remove any urine and manure thats soaked through. After this your stable should be smelling and looking lovely.

If you havent already, consider getting wall mounted tool holders to keep all your tools on. The stable will look much tidier for it and you wont be able to trip over your shovel.

When youre satisfied youve done a great job you can put the new bedding down, bring your horses feeder, any buckets and toys back in and of course the horse itself. If your horse gives you the nod of approval youre then free to go about other business, have a cup of tea or pour yourself a much deserved, large glass of wine.

Pupils head to country for a day of learning; Excited youngsters get to try hands at rural events

Byline: DAVE BLACK

HUNDREDS of Tyneside youngsters left their classrooms behind for a day out with a difference in the countryside.

They headed north to Wooler in Northumberland to take part in one of the UK's biggest outdoor educational events of its kind dedicated to rural life.

Highlights for the excited primary school pupils included trying their hand at dry stone walling, poultry plucking and butchery.

And they swapped their usual computers and other learning tools for wheelbarrows and gardening equipment to experience the delights of growing fruit and vegetables on an allotment.

The aim of the event was to teach the children more about life in the countryside, and how their food is grown and produced.

More than 1,620 pupils from 42 schools in Tyneside and Northumberland - together with 320 of their teachers and parents - gathered on the Glendale Showground for the rural teach-in.

They were given lessons about the growing of crops and the rearing of livestock which they eat in their daily diets - as well as meeting those involved at the sharp end of the production process.

The youngsters were the latest to take part in the Glendale Agricultural Society's annual Children's Countryside Day, which was launched seven years ago.

Free to schools, the event brings in children from rural and urban backgrounds and teaches them about the contribution which farming and rural activities make to everyone's lives.

Yesterday the pupils found out more about farm-related work such as planting, game rearing, fly fishing, sheep shearing, stick dressing and wool spinning.

The giant, outdoor classroom also included its own purpose-built and fullystocked allotment.

Jayne Watson, one of the organisers of the event, said: "Many of those attending today are more used to an urban environment, so we hope it will encourage them to think about growing some food at home, or even their own allotment."

Democrats Serious Get together of 'No'

Ah, what a existence getting a Democratic member of Congress these days. Forget about that thing termed, er, governing as the place is aboard a bullet train racing toward money damage. Nope. That would get what is often times referred to as "leadership." As a substitute Democrats in the Nation's Money have decided on the route of embracing the lowest normal denominator with perversely created scare strategies: lying incessantly to voters that Republicans conspire to^damage Medicare and wheelbarrow seniors into a lake (actually), as one Tv ad argued.

And what may make these rote chatting details even sicker is that the liberals in Congress have failed to provide a strategy of their own.

Let's walk via the actions, shall we.

It is now considerably more than two a long time seeing as Senate Democrats handed a budget. Two ages! In truth, if you might be keeping count, the previous time Harry Reid basically did his duty as majority leader and adopted a price range was back again on April 29, 2009, which is added than 760 days ago.

Nothing due to the fact.

And then there is certainly President Obama's spending budget, which was defeated 97 to in the Senate. Not a single single senator voted for the President's spending budget ? not even avowed Socialist Bernie Sanders, seeing that the proposal was regarded as "stale."

Even the hyper liberal New York Occasions are unable to abdomen the Democratic inaction. "What specifically are the Democrats proposing as their choice to get the funds back into long-term harmony?" the Occasions editorialized a short while ago. "Instead than coming up with unique creative ideas and sensible policies to counter the severe ones pouring out of the Home, it simply votes down Household bills, or refuses to just take them up."

The nonsense about the Property bills aside, the Times' editorial board is spoton: Democrats have glided through Congress bereft of options, still they are hefty on attacks. And in big portion, so much, the Democrats are becoming away with this tactic.

Hey try to remember when all we heard on television is how the GOP was the get together of "No?" What now?

At very best, the Democratic Get together has "No" program for dealing with Medicare and skyrocketing deficits. At worst, the default strategy of ObamaCare is to raid the currently-insolvent Medicare "rely on fund" to pay out for an completely new entitlement system.

Heck, even Invoice Clinton agrees that something needs to be completed about Medicare, likely as far as to contact out the Democrats for their demagoguery.

"I believe the Democrats are going to have to be prepared to give up, probably, some small-phrase political gain by whipping up fears on some of these elements, if it truly is a sensible Social Protection proposal, a acceptable Medicare proposal," he mentioned in an interview. "We've got to deal with these elements. You can not have healthcare devour the economic system."

To recap, the New York Times and Invoice Clinton, demigods to modem-day liberals, are equally unloading on Democrats for sitting on their derri?res when it arrives to this nation's debt.

For Obama's element, he's joyful to just give speeches and try to scare the everyday life out of seniors. His funds, the one that was unanimously rejected by the Senate, did not deal with entitlement paying. So he gave a speech, redoubling his efforts to tackle backbreaking entitlement prices. From that speech, the White Household featured up a press release, devoid of any special amounts or policy proposals.

As a single House Republican official told FIuman Activities, "It is not a issue of him agreeing with Rep. Ryan, but the President is a leader and leaders demand to act, not quickly speak, and he has not undertaken that yet still."

five Pieces of Gear Gardeners Cant Are living With no

Gardening is entertaining and gratifying and might possibly be perceived as a hobby, expertise or both equally and often its just luck. Gardening is not as very simple as it seems to be and requires dedication, time and consistency and a great number of trials and errors. There are scores of facets to keeping a balanced garden, but some features are additional integral than some others. An person who likes to backyard can have the practical knowledge to manufacture the top backyard in the earth, but lacking the appropriate machines and components it just wouldnt be doable.

Below you will get a list of the top five pieces of equipment which gardeners only are not able to dwell free of:

one.Trowel A trowel is a shovel-like piece of machines which is used to dig up dust and set small vegetation. There are the majority of styles to opt for from and variety of deal with on your trowel will determine how nicely it performs. Painless grip, non-slide and non-slip grips are the easiest sort of tackle to go with. These will be much simpler to use and will need to have much less get the job done than any other sort of trowel. A trowel with no grip will be challenging to use and could conclude up ruining your backyard. Attempt just one out in your hand first to guarantee it feels pleasant. Theres absolutely nothing like developing your hand cramp or the trowel slip when employing it to dig in a fantastic, new plant.

2.Pitchfork A pitchfork is a gardening instrument which has 2-6 prongs and a prolonged tackle. The dimensions of pitchforks change, relying on what they are being utilised for.
