A NEWCASTLE school has had a Groundforce type garden make-above, thank you to a donation from staff at Procter & Gamble.
St Lawrence's Key College acquired a donation of lbs 1,000 adhering to a fundraising push at P&G's Newcastle Innovation Centre, in Longbenton.
The capital has been applied to remodel a patch of derelict land adjacent to the college into a small-scale backyard with storage models to property the school's wheelbarrows, gardening equipment and outside play devices. Lynda Edwards, a reception class teacher at the college, mentioned: "We are completely delighted the donation from P&G has allowed us to remodel the patch of land into a handy storage unit."
